About Himachal Crime News

Himachal Crime News is a Hindi Weekly Newspaper of Himachal Pradesh. It was founded on 2 January 2002 from Hamirpur district. The newspaper was inaugurated by the then Chairman of Kangra Central Cooperative Bank and MLA of Nadaun Assembly Constituency, Babu Ram Mandyal.

Over the years, Himachal Crime News has become a trusted name in investigative, crime and political journalism. The newspaper regularly covers important developments from Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Chandigarh, Haryana, Delhi and Jammu & Kashmir, while continuously working in the interest of society.

In 2003, the newspaper gained recognition for exposing a major brown sugar drug network operating in Himachal Pradesh. The work was appreciated by the then Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh and the then Director General of Police (DGP) A.K. Puri, IPS.

Himachal Crime News also played an important role in bringing national attention to the historical and religious legacy of Dhyanu Bhagat, a devoted follower of Maa Jawala Ji. Through the efforts of Mahant Om Nath Sharma Ji, awareness about Dhyanu Bhagat reached devotees across India and abroad.

In 2007, Himachal Crime News published its first colour magazine, launched by legendary devotional singer Narendra Chanchal. The publication was associated with a grand Jagran at Nadaun featuring renowned devotional and Bollywood artists, along with many distinguished guests from various fields.

In 2011, Himachal Crime News became the media partner for the devotional film "Devi Bhagat Dhyanu Ki Jeevan Yatra", directed by Mahant Om Nath Sharma. The film, produced with music by T-Series, was largely shot in Nadaun, Jawalamukhi, Kangra and nearby locations, with playback voices by celebrated artists including Tulsi Kumar, Hans Raj Hans, Narendra Chanchal and Anuradha Paudwal.
